All roads lead to Rome, so the saying goes. But the holiday season is especially busy with people travelling to the Zillertal. Absolutely understandable. The Gardenhotel Crystal has all the information you need for a hassle-free and enjoyable holiday start, avoiding traffic jams and stress. Spoiler: The day of the week can make all the difference, and those who travel by rail have a clear advantage.

By train to the Zillertal:

Getting there is eco-friendly and relaxing if you choose to travel by train. International long-distance trains stop at Jenbach station. The Zillertal Railway also has its starting station here. The Hart-Fügen stop is about a 15-minute walk from the Gardenhotel Crystal.


By plane to the Zillertal:

The nearest airport is Innsbruck. From there you can travel by airport shuttle, hire car or public transport.

By car to Fügen:

If you are travelling by car, take the A12 Inntal motorway, exit at Wiesing and follow the B181 Zillertaler Straße. The address for the navigation system is: Austria, 6263 Fügen, Hochfügener Str. 63.  At holiday times and weekends, traffic in Tyrol can be heavy – another good reason to take the train.
